Personal Care

Personal care is the most intimate support we provide, so we approach it the way we'd want it approached for our own family, with patience, discretion and absolute respect for your dignity.

How it works

Getting started with personal care

  1. 1

    Talk to us

Call or send an enquiry. We'll listen, and because personal care is personal, we'll ask what would make you most comfortable, including a preference for male or female support workers.

  2. 2

    We plan together

We visit, understand your routine and your funding, and build a plan around them. You choose what's included and who helps.

  3. 3

    Support begins

Your regular support worker starts, the same familiar face, week after week, and we stay in touch as your needs change.

Paying for it

Funding can be confusing. If you're not sure what you're eligible for, call us on (08) 7428 9000, we'll talk it through in plain language, with no obligation and no cost.

Questions about personal care

Can I choose a male or female support worker?
Yes. Personal care only works when you're comfortable, so tell us your preference and we'll match you with the right person.
Will I have the same person each visit?
Yes, consistency is the heart of how we work. You'll see the same familiar faces, week after week, and we'll introduce anyone new before they start.
What if I only need help a few mornings a week?
That's fine. There's no minimum beyond a single visit, we build the plan around what you actually need, and you can change it at any time.
Can personal care be funded?
Usually, yes. Personal care is covered by government-funded aged care support at home, DVA arrangements and NDIS plans (plan-managed and self-managed). We'll help you work out what applies, and you can always pay privately.
Can family be involved?
Absolutely. Many of our clients' plans are arranged with a son or daughter, and we're happy to keep family in the loop, with your consent, always.
