How it works

Getting started with nursing services

  1. 1

    Talk to us

Call or send an enquiry. Tell us what's happened, a discharge, a new diagnosis, a wound that needs care, and we'll explain how nursing at home works.

  2. 2

    We assess together

A nurse visits, completes a clinical assessment, and builds a care plan with you, liaising with your GP or specialist where needed.

  3. 3

    Care begins

Your nurse visits on a schedule that suits your clinical needs, and we adjust the plan as your recovery progresses.

Paying for it

Funding can be confusing. If you're not sure what you're eligible for, call us on (08) 7428 9000, we'll talk it through in plain language, with no obligation and no cost.

Cytotoxic cleaning during cancer treatment

If you or someone you care for is having cancer treatment at home, our team can also take care of the cleaning. They are fully trained and licensed for cytotoxic cleaning, including the correct disposal of cytotoxic waste, so the home stays safe for everyone in it.

Questions about nursing services

Are your nurses registered?
Yes, our nursing services are delivered by registered and enrolled nurses. If you'd like to know more about a nurse's background before they visit, just ask.
Can you take over my wound care after hospital?
Yes. Post-hospital wound care and dressings are one of the most common reasons families call us. We can usually start quickly, tell us your discharge date.
Do you work with my GP?
Yes. With your consent we liaise with your GP and specialists so everyone treating you is working from the same picture.
Is nursing covered by my funding?
Nursing is commonly covered by government-funded aged care support at home, DVA arrangements and NDIS plans (plan-managed and self-managed). We'll confirm what applies before anything starts.
Can nursing be combined with other services?
Yes, many clients combine nursing with personal care or domestic assistance, all delivered by the same trusted team under one plan.
